Mary Wallace Walton

Ms. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She spent most of her days at home being a dedicated homemaker. One of her favorite past time was flying, she was an instrument rated private pilot with her husband and was a member of 99’s Female Pilot Organization. She also enjoyed equestrienne, when she wasn’t in the air.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James V. Walton and wife Beverly; grandchildren, Lesley Oliver, Cory Bell and wife Brandy, Robert D. Walton III, and Taylor Ann Walton; great-grandchildren, Allyson, Sura, Sonya, Kameron, Autumn, and Justin; brother, V.A. Wallace Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert D. Walton Sr.; son, Robert D. Walton; daughter, Donette Walton Bell; parents, Ellie and V.A Wallace; brother, Donald Wallace; and sister June Wallace Price.

A visitation for Ms. Mary will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:30 PM with an interment to follow the service at Centuries Memorial Park. Pastor Steve Angell will be officiating the services.
