MaryElizabeth Jean Borja

MaryElizabeth Jean Borja passed away peacefully at home in Bethany, LA on Monday, August 29, 2016 after a courageous four year battle with brain cancer. Since the day she was born, May 13, 1985, she was a source of light and joy to her family and friends, and now heaven shines just that much brighter with her presence.

She is preceded in death by her father Jess Anthony Borja. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Cecilia Suzanne Borja, her grandparents Robert and Mary Dayberry, her brother Jeremy Anthony Borja and wife Haley, her aunts Theresa Borja, Alice Villar and husband Nathan and George Harris, her uncles James Patrick Dayberry and wife Susan and Robert Paul Dayberry and wife Lolette, her nephew Brayden Borja, her niece Sopheya Borja and numerous cousins, other family and friends.

The family would also like to thank Home Health Care and Hospice for taking excellent care of MaryElizabeth.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10AM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 425 McCormick St., Bossier City, LA. Father Karl Daigle will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 5PM to 7PM on Friday, September 2, 2106 at the Funeral Home.
