Michael was born the first child to Bill and Barbara Taylor in Shreveport on July 19, 1977. In school, Mike excelled at artistic design and ROTC, while in his free time he explored the intricate world building of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and voraciously read horror books. There was no doubt he had rolled a natural 20 for Charisma in life. No matter what he was dealing with, when you saw Michael he would greet you with a smile that made you feel welcome and truly seen. He would listen to anyone and empathize with their sorrows or celebrate their accomplishments. Mike supported the people he cared about and was always ready to lift them up with everything he had. His family has been deeply moved by the outpouring of grief and love from everyone who knew Michael, especially his Margaritaville family.
Preceding Michael in death were his parents, Bill and Barbara, and his step-brother Shane.
He is survived by his brother Jonathan, sister-in-law Kasia, and niece, Jane as well as his step-mother Judi and step-brother Conley Lisenbea and his wife Connie, and everyone who had the pleasure of sharing a drink and a laugh with him.
