Mr. Murry Audrey Bridwell

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Murry A. Bridwell, 86, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Billy Crosby and Rev. Wayne Dubose. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.

Mr. Bridwell was born on October 12, 1929 in Athens, LA and passed away on October 28, 2015 in Keithville, LA, after a brief battle with lung cancer. He was an avid LSU fan. Murry was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church for 40 years.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Murry are his wife, Jean C. Bridwell; one brother, Ross Bridwell; children, Cindy Joyner and husband Kenny of Benton, LA, Teresa Pomeroy and husband Mark of Dallas, TX and Melissa Green and husband Bubba of Keithville, LA; grandchildren, Kelli Waller, Katie Pena, Drew Mauritz, Blake Ogburn, Megan Ogburn and Cade Hollis; great grandchildren, Jackson, Nolan, Evan, Emma, Silas and Ana Kaye.

Pallbearers will be: Kenny Joyner, Mark Pomeroy, Bubba Green, Cade Hollis, Dallas Pena and Trey Waller.

The family wishes to thank St. Joseph Hospice, especially Charlotte Farley.

In lieu of flowers Murry requested that donations be made to the Gideons International, 8850 Chadwick Dr, Shreveport, LA 71129.
