

Myrtle is survived by her son, Billy Edward Miller and wife Charlotte of Grand Cane, LA, grandsons, Kenny Miller (Guangdong, China), Jason Miller and wife Karen (Stonewall, LA), Benjamin Huff (Fayetteville, NC) and Eric Miller (Ruston, LA). She was also blessed with 2 great-grandchildren, Isabella and Michael Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Henry Stewart, her son Bobby Miller, her parents, Rufus and Annie Maybell Jordan and her siblings, Hugh Jordan, Beatrice Jordan Garrett, Edna Jordan Johnson and Victor Jordan.
Myrtle was a homemaker who loved reading Louis L’Amour books and spoiling her dogs, Taffy and most recently, Lizzie. She never met a stranger with her friendly smile and happy disposition. Her son, Billy remembers her always instilling in him to “Treat everyone as you would want to be treated”.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for Tuesday, June 28th at 2:00. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Minister John Strong will officiate. Pall bearers will be Kenny, Jason and Eric Miller, David Huff, Jacob Huff, and David Shockley. Honorary pallbearer is Jim Springer. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Azalea Estates and Heritage Manor Stratmore for their dedication to our mother in her last years.
