Nancy Rose Richart

She moved to Houston, Tx where she worked for Entex and transferred back to Greenwood, LA until her retirement from Arkla. She also worked for Hallmark for many years after her formal retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas L. Richart; by her children, Nancy Katherine Scott and husband Rick, Paula Jane Kimberlin and husband Wade; stepchildren, Margie Jo Blake, Alisha Carter and Jeff Richart and wife Julie; by her grandchildren, Keith Scott and wife Arlie, Megan Scott, Nico Galicia, Schawnee Galicia, Noah Galicia, Mark Blake, Holly Yoakum, Ashley Cardon, Thomas Sherman, Ashleigh Kimberlin, Elyssa Kimberlin and Caleb Kimberlin; great grandchildren, Brady Landon, Louie Carter, Amber Yoakum, Thijs Scott and Jackson Cardon. She is also survived by sisters, Ouida Ann McMullen and Barbara Jane Hawkins; and many nieces and nephews. She loved her three pups, Jasmine, Jak and Dakota. She also left many loving friends and people she touched throughout her life. She never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Eda Rose Mitchell and sister, Mary Thomas.

Services will be held on January 10, 2015, at Westview Christian Church, 7188 Greenwood Rd, Shreveport LA 71119. Graveside service to follow.

Pallbearers are Rick Scott, Wade Kimberlin, Keith Scott, Nico Galicia, Noah Galicia, Dion Thomas,Scotty Wiley, and Jeff Richart.
