Naomi Marie Robinson Seawright, of Shreveport Louisiana, has passed away on the morning of October 4th, 2024, at the age of 90 years old. Naomi was born in Crowley, Louisiana on March 4th, 1934, to Guy and Mayola Robinson. Naomi was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family with all her heart. She loved to spend Sunday morning after church cooking lunch for the whole family to come spend time together. Even in her elder years you couldn’t keep her from trying to do it all herself; cooking, cleaning, and packing leftovers for everyone. You could always catch her with a dog in her lap, even pushing them around in the basket of her walker. Naomi was a devoted member of the Summer Grove Baptist Church family.
Naomi was preceded in death by her father Guy Robinson, her mother Mayola Robinson, her husband William Seawright, her sisters Bonnie, as well as grandson Clint Seawright.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Ann; her children, Dottie and her husband Glen; Scott and his wife Aliese; grandchildren, Casey and his wife Karen; Colby, Crystina, Cyle, Taylor, Alexis, and Austin and his fiancé Breanne; great grandchildren, Kayla and Clara; Naomi's best friend, and longtime neighbors, Arrie and her husband John who were always there for love, support, and friendship and many more close family and friends.
Naomi’s funeral will be held on October 7th at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home (8801 Mansfield Road Shreveport, LA). The visitation will be held at 10:30 am and the service will be held at 12:00 pm.
