Otis Harrison

Otis Harrison of Shreveport, Louisiana went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the age of 79. He was born August 7, 1942 in Grand Bayou, Louisiana to Ozzie B. Harrison and Virginia Harrison. Otis retired from AT&T after 25 years of service.

Otis was affectionately called "Bo" by his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed all sports but he was most interested in basketball. Bo also was on the move and would insists to walk or run everyday, even when he could barely move. His motivation in life was infectious to others he came into contact with.

He leaves to mourn two daughters, TaRonda Jenkins Harrison and Marvia Harrison; sisters, Ruby Bolden, Atlean H. Snow (William) of Shreveport, LA, Gloria H. Freeman (Earnest) of Dallas, TX and Helen H. Baker of Los Angeles, CA along with a host or nieces, nephews, relatives and beloved friends.

Otis was preceded in death by his three brothers, George Harrison, Roosevelt Harrison and Andrew Harrison; five sisters, Y-Zie Harrison, Lossie H. Dyas, Alice Harrison, Juanita H. Pugh and Alistine H. Owens along with his parents.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Willis-Knighton North staff for taking care of him until the end. Y'all are wonderful.
