Graveside Services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA.
Pauline was born August 15, 1916 in Boyce, LA. She met her husband, George Henry Brooks, a Wisconsin native, when he was stationed at Camp Beauguard in Alexandria, LA. and they married March 26, 1941. After the war, George’s civil service job took them to Dallas and then to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. Pauline was a full-time homemaker who loved to cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother David Willis, sisters, Bunny, Ann, Billie & Ruth. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Morgan, her son George “David” Brooks and wife Nancy, grandson, John David Brooks, great-grandchildren Hannah and Mason Brooks, and numerous nieces and nephews.
