Phil was born February 27, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to the late Maxine Brown and was called to his heavenly home September 17, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was an avid Louiaiana Tech Bulldogs and New Orleans Saints fan and had a passion for football. Phil was a passionate traveler, who enjoyed plays, opera and musicals. Throughout his life, he was an active member in the Shreveport community, serving in the Shreveport Area Jaycees, helping to organize food drives for the Kiwanis Club, serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, and graciously lending his time and talents to numerous other charitable and community organizations. Phil was a committed and active member of the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association, receiving the 2016 award for the Northwest Louisiana Tech Advancement Group Scholarship at Louisiana Tech University. Phil will be remembered as a loving father, doting grandfather, caring sibling and dedicated friend to those who knew him best.
Phil is preceded by his parents, Louis J. and Maxine Nadeau, his brothers Andrew and Ronald Nadeau, and stepson, Jeremy Boyd.
Left to cherish Phil Nadeau's memory and tell his stories will be his three children: Adrian Nadeau and wife Carol Ann, David Nadeau and wife Katie, and Jennifer Nadeau Graham and husband Kelly; stepson, Jeffery Boyd; brothers, Alan and wife BJ, Mark Nadeau, and Stephen Nadeau and wife Ann; and sister, Karen Nadeau Kelly; nine grandchildren, Victoria, Mikaila, David Jr., Graceyn, Landon, Samuel, Avery James, Rafe, and Ella; former wives Cathy Nadeau and Sarah Nadeau, along with a host of nieces and nephews, and other extended family members and numerous friends.
The family would like to express special thanks to the entire staff of The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice for their compassionate care provided to Phil during his time of need.
