Rebecca Jan Colvin Addison, age 68, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Thursday March 26, 2020. She was born January 17, 1952 in Minden, Louisiana to Emmet and Annie Mims Colvin. She was so passionate about loving and caring for all animals, especially dogs and cats, she would do anything for them.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 31 years, Gary Addison; two step-sons, Brian Addison (Kim) and Jason Addison (Cherie); three grandchildren, Gracie Addison, Hunter Addison, and Logan Addison; a sister, Meda Colvin; and many nieces and nephews, who loved their Aunt Beccy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Annie Doris Palmer and Emmy Beatty.
In light of the public safeguards pertaining to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will host a memorial service at a later date to honor Becky.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made is Becky’s name to Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue.
