Rebecca Davidson Burns was born on March 23, 1967 in Shreveport, LA to James and Angielene Davidson. She was affectionately known as Becky to her family and friends. She worked for 20 years as a sales representative and manager. During her time working in transportation, she closed over 40 million dollars in new business.
Becky had a big personality. People knew when she entered a room. Her charismatic energy was alway evident in conversations with joke cracking and laughter. To say Becky was a people person is an understatement. She had the gift of remembering the workers at the local grocery stores and restaurants she frequently visited. She enjoyed listening to all types of music from the 60s to today and often referenced songs in conversations.
Becky had three main loves, God, Family and Dallas Cowboy Football. She was a devoted Christian who loved sharing the word and routinely prayed for others. She was very passionate about her family and fierce for those she loved. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend. Anyone who knew her, knew her love for the Dallas Cowboys some may even say fanatic. She also loved being a league owner in Fantasy football for 11 years.
On Thursday, July 27, 2023 she went to her Heavenly home at the age of 56. To know Becky was to love her and she will be truly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tracey Burns, son, Zachary and his wife, Samantha, who she called her daughter-in-love, her brother, James Davidson and sisters, Frankie Glass and Deborah Davidson.
She was preceded in death by her father, James C. Davidson, mother, Anielene Procell Davidson and best friend, Melanie Payne.
