Retha B Oliver

Retha was born in Fort Worth, Texas. Throughout her life, she was a devoted mother, wife, and self-employed businesswoman. She was also a loving and cherished “Mawmaw,” a role she held dear and embraced with warmth and joy. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she took pride in being there for her children and grandchildren, offering guidance, love, and support at every turn. Whether through her cooking, her presence, or her words of wisdom, Retha made lasting memories with those she held most dear.

She is survived by her daughter, Rene West (Jack); her granddaughters, Jamie Lacobee Cagle (Micah), Krissy Gabler (Gregory) and Cheyenne West (Drayton Caskey); her grandson, Seth West (Jessica).

Retha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robbie Oliver; her parents, George and Viola Bruno; her sister, Peggy Morgan; and her brother, Richard Bruno.

A celebration of life at graveside will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.

Retha will be laid to rest at Centuries Memorial Park, Fountain, Lot: 87, Grave: 7.
