Rev. Larry Wayne Wiley, age 70, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was born June 10, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Vernice and Ethel Mae Wiley. He retired from the Bossier Parish Sheriff Department where he worked for many years. He was a humble man who loved the Lord, his community and his family and friends. He would go above and beyond for anyone in need.
He served his community as a Pastor for 43 years including but not limited to, being involved in children’s ministry. Larry was a true man of God. He spoke to the Lord every day. He was a man of many talents. Larry met his wife Stephanie in collage and the two have been inseparable ever since. The two were married for 41 years and to know them was to love them.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Pastor Tommy Patton will be officiating the services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children.
