Robin Cheryl Cox

Robin passed from this life on Thursday March 4th, 2021 at the age of 51.

Robin leaves behind her mother Mildred, sister Georgia, brother-in-law Greg, nephews Gary, Carson and Caleb as well as nieces Isabella and London. Gary’s wife Deborah and great nephew Joshua and great niece Lydia. Robin also leaves behind many cousins, extended family and a great many dear friends.

Robin attended Shreve Christian School and is a 1991 graduate of Harding University. At Harding she was a member of the Zeta Rho social club.

Robin was a member of University Church of Christ in Shreveport, Church of Christ North, University Church in Searcy, Bammel Road Church in Houston, the Preston Road Church in Dallas and the Watermark Community Church in Dallas.

Robin was an educator – teaching in the Houston Area (Katy ISD), Dallas Area (Garland ISD) - Lister and Dorsey Elementary Schools and in the Dallas ISD. More recently Robin was employed by Baylor University Medical Center.

Robin was a champion of children and animals.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Covenant Kids Family Services or a donation to an animal shelter would please Robin.

A memorial service is planned on Friday March 12th at 1pm at Church of Christ North in Shreveport Louisiana.

Robin was funny with a sarcastic wit. A good prank, something silly or a good memory were her favorites. Adventurous with a big heart. Robin loved to spoil her nieces and nephews. Animals. Chicken Nachos. Tab soda. Friends and Family.
