

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to a wonderful man, husband, father, brother, uncle, and paw-paw. Rodney was born 10-18-51 in Princeton, Missouri to the union of Marion Seibolt Marrs and William Dale Marrs. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday 5-25-17 after a brief, but hard battle with brain cancer. He graduated from Campti High School (Class of 1969). Retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. His favorite thing to do after retiring was fishing for that big bass. He enjoyed cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, but he most enjoyed watching WWE smackdown with his son. He loved his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Rodney is survived by his wife Betty of 37 years. His only son Matt and daughter-in-law Georgia, sisters Ann Goad of Haughton, La. Joyce Browne and husband Will of Coushatta, La. and brother Ricky and Wife Randi of Huntington, Tx. Paw-Paw to his little granddaughter Zoey Marrs and to his litle grandson Clay Marrs (due on May 31,2017). Also numerous in-laws, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marion Bryant and Bill Marrs, mother & father in law Gordie and Lockie Prudhome, step-daughter Tammy Watson, great niece Briana SMith, and four brother in laws. Visitation will be Monday May 29, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. with graveside service following the visitation at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road.
