Shreveport, LA Ron Clayton McCollister was born on March 31, 1961 in Shreveport, LA. He went to be with his Lord on June 12, 2015 in Shreveport.
Mr. McCollister was an amazing husband, a fantastic father, loving uncle and brother-in-law. He was a man of great influence with each and every person who was lucky enough to interact with him.
He was employed in commercial sales at Chevyland of Shreveport for the last six years where he gained many friendships of great value.
Mr. McCollister is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carol McCollister; his son, Cade Austin McCollister; a granddaughter, Emery McCollister, due to be born soon; His parents, Dean and Mary McCollister and a brother, Bryan McCollister; several other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. McCollister will be conducted Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 2:00 PM at the Gateway Church, 8925 Youree Dr., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Bubba Winningham.
