A memorial for Ronnie Lee Jordan will be held July 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be directly before the service. Mr. Jordan entered into rest July 8, 2014. Officiating will be Bro. David Permenter from Beulah Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana.
Ronnie was born April 30, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Fair Park High School and worked his entire life at Western Electric/AT&T. Ronnie was a great story teller and taught all his nieces and nephews many life lessons. Some good and some not so good. Ronnie never met a stranger and enjoyed his friends. Ronnie was an avid hunter and cherished his hunting trips with his grandson, Logan. He was loved by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, D.J. and Lela Jordan; brothers, Ray Jordan and Thomas Neal Jordan, Sr., sister, Louise Thomason, nephews Thomas Neal Jordan, Jr. and Michael P. Strickland, and niece, Claudia "Marie" Harper.
Survivors include his daughter, Robin Foster; grandson, Logan Foster; granddaughter, Aubree Foster; one brother, Roy Jordan; four sisters, Jean Rawls and husband Rollin, Linda Miller, Barbara Lum and husband Alvin, and Kay Rinaudo; and a host of nieces and nephews
