Mrs. Ruby Lee Cox

Services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Cox, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Stan McGee of Salem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday evening between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Our loving mother passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010. She was a longtime resident of Stonewall and a member of Salem Baptist Church. Ruby devoted her life to the Lord and her family. She was a fabulous cook and could bake THE BEST rolls in town! Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by those she has left behind.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Cox; and her great-grandson, Justin Bloxom. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Madeline Witham and husband, John, Donna Jean Fejleh, and Vanessa Fogleman and husband, Lynn; son, David Madison Cox and wife, Anne; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and her special pet, Nina.

Pallbearers will be Brian Fogleman, Derek Fogleman, John Witham, Madison Cox, Chad Thornton, and Tyler Bloxom.

The family would like to thank The Glen and also Dr. Paul Wilson and his nurse, Betty; Dr. Cambize Shardar and his nurse, Carolyn; Tori, Lynn and Jan for the care given to their mother.
