Ruby "Mawmaw" Massey Willis Wyatt

Frierson, LA- A celebration of life for Ruby “Mawmaw” Massey Willis (Wyatt), 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Bass. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Ruby was born on April 15, 1922 to Ocie and Dora Massey. Mawmaw passed away at home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, surrounded by her family. She fought a good fight and is now in the arms of Jesus. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Arnold Willis and numerous brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Mizell; son, Frank Willis and wife Doraline; daughter, Lynette Harper and husband Dale; grandchildren, Eric Harper and wife Laura, Holley Furrow and husband Terry, Michelle Fages and husband Brandon, Allan Willis and wife Lorea and Wendy Ward and husband Rusty. Ruby is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Honoring Mawmaw as pallbearers will be Eric Harper, Sr., Eric Harper, Jr., Terry Furrow, Allan Willis, Brandon Fages and Bruce Wynn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dwayne Harper and Jody Smith.
