Sammy was first and foremost a proud family man. He was the greatest provider to his family whom he loved with all of his heart, and would tell them everyday. He was the most loving, loyal, compassionate, giving man, and the most amazing husband, father, and papa anyone could ever ask for.
Sammy served his country in the U.S. Army. As a Vietnam veteran, he earned the Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Army Commendation Medal; Sharpshooter (Rifle). Sammy worked at BASF for 33 years and retired at the young age of 55. In his younger years, he loved to play basketball and softball and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. However, his passion was hunting, shooting his guns, watching old western TV shows and wrestling. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin Blaine Mouser; grandson, Jacob Aaron Meshell Mouser.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marilyn Mouser; daughter, Janell Mouser Purland (John); grandchildren, Brittany Walker (Jeff), and Ayden Teeters; great grandchildren, Harper and Waylon Walker; brother, Johnny Ray Mouser (Mary).
