SHREVEPORT, LA – Funeral services for Shirley Sandlin Evans, 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Centuries Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Shirley was a valued employee of the American Rose Center. She passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 in Shreveport, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Evans, her grandson, Jesse Duane Glidewell, her parents, her brother and her sister.
She is survived by her four sons: Eric and his wife, Lisa, Kevin, Lance, and Renard Glidewell; and her granddaughters, Erica, Megan, Jayde, and Allyssa.
Honoring Shirley as pallbearers will be her two grandsons, Jullian and Daniel Glidewell, Daniel Bridges, Roy Houston, Richard Turner and Bobby Weeks.
