Mrs. Shirley Mae Herndon Lambert

Shreveport,LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Shirley Herndon Lambert, 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lambert was born on November 10, 1935 in Hemphill, TX and passed away on September 24, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Shirley loved life and was dedicated and devoted to her family. She never met a stranger. Mrs. Lambert enjoyed watching old movies with her family.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Lambert; her parents and one granddaughter, Shannon Lambert.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Shirley are her daughters, June Festervan and husband Wes, Lydia Saunders and Mary Ellen "Sam" Lambert; sister, Linda Herndon; brother, James Herndon; grandchildren, Eddie, Keith, James, Dorothy and April; great grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Kirstin, J.J., Destiny, Brittany, Hunter, Devin, Kelsi and Derienne; great great grandchildren, Tristin, Balyn, Aaliyah, Alana, Ariel and Julianna. Mrs. Lambert is also survived by special nephew, Lee Herndon and numerous other relatives and friends.
