Sonia was born in Bossier City, Louisiana, to Dell Donley Sessions and Robert Sessions. From the very beginning, she was known for her vibrant personality, her endless energy, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Above all else, Sonia was a loving wife, devoted mom, and proud Gigi. Her greatest joy in life came from being with her family whether that be cheering them on, supporting their passions, and celebrating every moment together. One of her favorite things in the world was watching her kids race dirt track. She was a true race mom, through and through. She could always be found at the track, filled with pride and excitement, her voice one of the loudest in the stands.
Sonia also had a deep love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. She enjoyed fishing, running, biking, and dancing. She was always moving, always smiling. Whether she was casting a line on a quiet lake or dancing the night away with family and friends, Sonia lived with a spirit that was truly contagious.
She was the kind of person who could light up any room. Her laughter, her sense of fun, and her open heart made her unforgettable. Sonia had a natural way of making people feel welcome, seen, and loved.
Sonia is survived by her husband, Greggory McVay; her children: John Allen Tuggle and April Tuggle Davis (Chase); her grandchildren: Laekyn Tuggle, Holden Davis, Dakota Tuggle, and Fletcher Tuggle; her siblings: Robert Sessions, Richard Adcock (Lizbeth), and Sherry Everett (Kenny); and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dell Donley Sessions.
