Steven Lane Sanford

Steve was a hardworking and straight forward man. He was a dedicated welder his whole career. A country boy at heart, Steve loved his family above all else. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting, and he followed NASCAR—especially Kyle Busch—as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steven is survived by his mother, Linda Sanford; brothers, David Wayne Sanford and Roger Dale Sanford; and sister, Tangie Renee' Kincaid. He is also survived by two nephews, three nieces, six great nieces and five great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Wade "Bay" Sanford.

Visitation will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA 71108 on March 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Assembly of God, 5801 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71129, on March 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ray Holmon. Steven will be laid to rest at Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Bo Kincaid, Michael Free, Scotty Reed, Robert Washington, Kent Brooks, and Buddy Kincaid.
