Susan Diane Litton Graham, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 in Minden, Louisiana at the age of 76. Born at home in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 20, 1949, Sue was the daughter of Wilhelmina Smith Litton and William Edward “Ed” Litton. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1969.
In October of 1971, Sue and Richard Ivan "Ricky" Graham Jr. exchanged wedding vows at Brookwood Baptist Church. They shared 34 years of marriage, remaining devoted to one another until his passing in 2006 from medical complications due to a car accident. In the years that followed, Sue carried forward the same steady devotion that marked her life, offering warmth and care to those around her.
Known for a gentle spirit and a giving heart, Sue lived with a quiet cheerfulness that put others at ease. She was the kind of person who noticed need and responded without hesitation—offering comfort, sharing what she had, and providing a meal when someone was hungry. Her kindness was expressed in everyday acts that made life lighter for family, friends, and neighbors alike.
Sue especially enjoyed cooking and spending time visiting with friends. She also found pleasure in simple, creative pastimes, including crafting homemade potholders for the kitchen, and she could often be found absorbed in the word-search books she loved so much.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky; parents and siblings. Those left to cherish her memory include her niece, Maralyn DiAnne Booth, and her cousin, Faye Bass.
Sue will be missed tremendously and remembered with gratitude for a life defined by compassion, steadiness, and a truly selfless care for others.
