Shreveport, LA- Graveside services celebrating the life of Sylvia Johnson Boswell, 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boswell was born on December 1, 1933 in Coushatta, LA and passed away on February 19, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. Sylvia was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 20 years. She was dedicated to nursing and a dedicated Christian. Mrs. Boswell was a very loving mother and Mamaw.
Mrs. Boswell was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Ray Boswell; parents, Willie and Bernice Johnson; brother, Willie Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Clyde Johnson Evans and Nellie Johnson Kees.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Sylvia are her children, Tonya Boyer and husband Daren, Debra Boswell Vascocu and husband Ronnie and Donnie Ray Boswell and wife Becky; grandchildren, Russell, Tracy, Ken, Kirstie, Daren Lee and Madeline; great grandchild, Emma; as well as, special niece, Nelda and special nephew, Buddy.
