Mr. Tommy Joe Anderson Sr.

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Tommy Joe Anderson, Sr., 77, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be J. Durrell Tuberville. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Tommy was born on July 12, 1938 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on July 29, 2015. He was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Anderson was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tommy was also an avid LSU Tigers fan. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #2239 and served as past president of the Louisiana association. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Louisiana ASA Major League Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Patricia Anderson.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Tommy are his wife, Mary Anderson; sons, Philip “Butch” Anderson (Lisa) and Tommy J. Anderson, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Anderson; brother, Preston R. Anderson; four grandsons, five granddaughters and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
