Tony, 54, is survived by his wife Cathy Fertitta, his daughter Mary Catherine, son Evan Anthony, and their spouses Dakota and Laura. His dedicated parents Joseph and Mary Fertitta, and loving siblings Joseph Jr (Tricia), John (Liz), Mary Angela (Roger), Sam (Marilyn), Lisa, Meredith (Rob), Marjorie (Mark), as well as many adored nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved mother-in-law Mimsy Spells. Tony was known for his servant heart, sharp wit, and unwavering dedication to his family. Tony leaves behind a legacy built on love, laughter, and simple joys.
Tony was the ultimate family man—steady, present, and rare. Every Sunday without fail, he called his children, parents, and siblings, simply to talk, to listen, and to stay connected no matter the distance. That was his way, open-hearted and humble.
A devoted husband to Cathy, the love of his life, the girl he knew he would marry as soon as they met. Their bond was the kind that many hope for but few ever find. Built on faith, mutual respect, and an enduring devotion, theirs was a partnership that weathered life’s storms and celebrated its joys. To Tony, she was the sun and the moon, his whole world, his best friend, his heart—and he loved her with a depth that anyone lucky enough to witness their love story could see. Together, they created his proudest achievement and greatest joy: their children.
To his daughter, Tony gave the greatest gift a little girl could hope for, a daddy’s unconditional love. She is forever his “baby girl.” He taught her to know her worth, and to stand her ground. He gave her, his adventurous spirit, wild and free. In his eyes, she was always his little princess, fearless and full of life. He taught her to believe in herself fiercely, just as he did.
To his son, he was more than a dad—he was his best friend. Their bond ran deep, marked by trust, laughter, and a simple daily ritual that spoke volumes: “Always remember what? You’re my best friend.” It was a phrase passed between them, a truth that will be carried for a lifetime. Tony fondly called his son “Old Man”, and taught him that no matter what happens in life, a dad’s love and support never changes.
He was a dad to many, and loved his children, their friends, and his nieces and nephews like his own.
As a son and brother he met life with honesty, humor, and a quiet strength. As a sibling, he played harder than the rest, with a strong spirit, a lightheartedness, and the sweet mischief of the youngest brother. He was hell on wheels, creative, free-spirited, and always ready for fun. His playful nature brought joy and laughter to every moment. Affectionately known as “Paul Puffin,” he went everywhere with his mother. Fiercely loyal, often a handful, but always full of love. He was strong-willed, deeply original, and fiercely protective. His presence in the family is irreplaceable.
Tony dedicated 34 years of his life to C&L Supply, Inc, working proudly alongside his father and brothers. His unmatched work ethic was evident not only in the hours he put in, but in the strong, lasting relationships he built with customers over the years.Yet beyond his dedication to the job, it was Tony’s heart and humor that truly defined him.
Tony had a way of making people feel at ease — always cracking a joke, flashing a smirk, or throwing a middle finger that somehow still felt like a hug. Everyone who met Tony felt his warmth and left with a smile and a story. He loved life’s simple pleasures: time with his family, a cold Bud Light, his animals, the outdoors, and caring for his yard. He believed deeply in “God’s beauty”; sunrises and sunsets were “Jesus’ firecrackers” in his eyes. Every morning, he knelt to pray, grounding himself in faith and gratitude.
Tony’s generosity was constant and unspoken. He gave his time, money, and love without hesitation. He never met a stranger, and lived by strong values of honesty, patience, and a genuine heart. With a song for everyone and a story for everything, Tony didn’t need much, just his family. He was honest, unapologetically real, and so deeply loved.
Tony’s passing leaves an irreplaceable space in the lives of those who loved him, but his genuine spirit lives on in every laugh, every prayer, and every golden sunset.
