

Travis Buford Nutt III, age 60, passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2024, while doing what he loved most—supporting and helping a friend. Travis lived a life marked by humility, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Born on February 14, 1964, Travis was the cherished son of Travis Nutt Jr. and Beverly Kay Parker. He is survived by his father, Travis Nutt Jr.; his stepmother, Veronica (Roni) Nutt; his beloved wife, Cindy; and his sisters, Gina and Misty. Travis's love also extended to his stepdaughters, Amanda and Amelia, along with their spouses, Riley and Trenton. He is further remembered by his nieces and nephews—Corey, Leslie, Dakota, Cheyanna, Mercuri, and Jonah. His loyal dogs, Hashbrown and Tucker, held a special place in his heart and provided him with constant companionship and joy. Travis was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Cindy, with whom he shared a remarkable life full of adventure and love. Their journey together was highlighted by countless miles traveled side by side, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories.Travis’s love for Cindy was steadfast and abundant, a testament to the depth of his heart and the strength of their profound bond of love and companionship. A man of genuine spirit and great character, Travis found immense joy and appreciation in life’s small moments. His deep gratitude for every day and experience endeared him to everyone who knew him. Whether savoring his daily cup of coffee, riding his side by side, or cheering for the Houston Astros, Travis’s love for the simple pleasures of life was always clear. His infectious laugh, striking blue eyes, and quick wit only added to his vibrant presence, leaving a lasting impression on all who encountered him. Travis’s faith played a crucial role in his life; his strong belief provided him with the resilience to face challenges with grace and courage. This faith, coupled with his quiet strength, guided him through both triumphs and trials, shaping him into the compassionate and unwavering individual he was. Travis’s passing, while sudden, came without suffering. His legacy of kindness, resilience, and genuine warmth will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Travis’s life and the many ways he touched the hearts of those around him on Thursday, August 22nd at Centuries Memorial. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm with a service to follow at 1:00pm. Travis’s life was a testament to the beauty of love, gratitude, and the simple pleasures that enrich our days. His memory will be cherished and his spirit remembered with fondness and affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
