Vernon Harold Phares Jr., age 68, of Greenwood, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. to Vernon Harold Phares and Mary Reynolds Phares.
Vernon was a humble and simple man, who loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Elizabeth Adams, brother, Charles Melvin Phares; sister, Jeanette Phares Bailey; and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary K. Phares and sister-in-law, Josie Phares.
