Wayne was an Engineering/Line Supervisor for AT&T which later became Lucent Technology. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He especially loved having his "Pawpaw Day" with his granddaughters each week. His favorite saying to his daughter and granddaughters was "I love you as big as the sky." He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Harnett Rabalais, Sr. and Vivian Rabalais.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Rabalais; daughter, Nicole Thompson and husband Delbert Thompson, Jr.; granddaughters, Hayley and Jillian Thompson; sister, Mary Miller (Larry); brothers, Steven Rabalais and Harnett Rabalais, Jr. (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Wayne will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 pm.
