Bill was born on February 23, 1952 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on July 14, 2014. Mr. Dougherty was a loving husband and father. Bill was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Dougherty served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. Bill worked for Foremost Dairy as a truck driver for 33 years.
Mr. Dougherty was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and John Dougherty and one sister, "Sis".
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Bill are his wife Liz Dougherty; sons, Billy Dougherty, Jr., Jeffrey Dougherty, Robby Dougherty and Robert Adams; two sisters, Pat Talor and husband Jim and Katherin Williams; and one brother, Bud Dougherty and wife Lynn. Mr. Dougherty is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Honoring Mr. Dougherty as pallbearers will be: Billy Dougherty, Jr., Jeffrey Dougherty, Robby Dougherty and Michael Collins.
