Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband Gene Perkins, her parents, brothers Kenny Eggleston, Henry Carlos “Buck” Eggleston, and sister Melba Warren.
Mrs. Perkins had worked in the dental supply business for several years. In 1996 She made a career change and was hired by Caddo Parish Sheriff Office as a Admin. Clerk. Her career at CPSO was one she was most proud of. Not only was it a career change she found her extended family. Some of which became the children she never had and was as protective of them as she was of her nephew Kevin.
