Andrew "Arnold" Wayne White

WHITE, Andrew “Arnold” Wayne, 75 of Noel Road Hants Co., passed away Friday November 4th, 2011 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site with family at his side. Born at North Noel Road, he was the son of Emerson and Mary “Mazie” (Anthony) White. Arnold was a self employed trucker and woods operator in Hants Co. for many years, he also operated a Snowmobile Sales and Service at his home. A lifetime passion for baseball which he played in his youth and with the “Old Timers” and made him a strong Blue Jay’s fan. Arnold was a avid supporter of the Conservative Party all of his life and member of the Hants North Legion Br # 166.He enjoyed playing cards, game shows on TV and the “Jerry Springer” show. Surviving are his common law wife Cindy White, cat Molly, son Danny, daughters Sherry, (Glendon) Kennetcook, Pamela, (David) Windsor Jct. four grandchildren Ryan, Robin, Jeremy, and Jordan. He is also survived by a brother Russell, (Eleanor) of Kennetcook and a sisters Inez, (Clyde) and Linda. Predeceased by brothers Melbourne, Stanley, Leslie, Raymond, Clair, Angus, Maurice in infancy, and sisters Rita and Hilda. Visitation Monday November 7th, 2011 from 6pm till 9 pm and funeral services 3 pm Tuesday all in the Ettinger Funeral Home Shubenacadie (Exit10 from Hwy 102) with Chuck Paterson officiating. A reception will be held at the community hall following committal service at the Presbyterian Church Cemetery on White Settlement Road. Donations may be made to the Hants North Baseball Association.
