Bertina Evelyn Wambolt Murphy

MURPHY, Bertina Evelyn, 72- Nine Mile River, passed away suddenly Friday January 14, 2011 at home. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of Lottie Gamble, Bass River and the late Samuel Wambolt. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and was also a friend to many. She will be sadly missed by her son Kevin(Charlene)Murphy, Shubenacadie; daughter Kimberley Murphy (Jim), Urbania; cherished grandchild Alexis Murphy; sister Betty Jean Wambolt(Lloyd), Georgetown, ON; brothers, Vernon Wambolt (Lillian), Bass River; Wayne Wambolt (Stella), Milford; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Aretas Wambolt and a niece, Nadine Wambolt. Arrangements are under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Tuesday at Milford-Lantz United Church, 2134 Highway 2 Milford Station, from where a funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, Lori Crocker DM officiating. Spring interment will be held in Sand Hill Cemetery, Upper Nine Mile River.
