

BEELER, Bruce Lee - 91, Lantz, passed away peacefully in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, surrounded by family, on Monday, November 15, 2010. Born in Tate, Saskatchewan he was a son of the late Horace and Alma (Freeman) Beeler. Bruce “Pampy” was an avid musician, having begun to play at an early age and shared this love of playing with his family. He was very proud of his family’s musical and academic accomplishments. He was a member of the East Hants Bluegrass Association. He worked for 35 years as a chef on the Canadian National Railway. He is survived by his children Doris Isenor, Brookfield; Cleve (Lorna) Beeler, Lantz; Stan (Karin) Beeler, Prince George, BC; Bonny (Dana) Bay, Lethbridge, AB; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters Barbara Wiles, Lilah Woodland, and Ina (Frank) Whitman; He was predeceased by his wife Grace (Menzies), son-in-law Fulton Isenor, grandson Zared Bay, brothers Cecil, Arnold, Irving, and sisters Phyllis Wambolt and Lorna Rice. Visitation will take place 2-4 & 6-8pm, Thursday, with a service to celebrate his life at 2pm, Friday, both in Milford-Lantz United Church, 2134 Hwy 2, Milford. Lori Crocker DM officiating.
