

MAGUIRE, Clyde Donald – 72, Stewiacke, passed away March 25, 2012 at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Shubenacadie, he was the son of the late Curtis and Hattie Maguire. Clyde drove a truck for 25 years and also worked for National Gypsum at Milford for 25 years from where he retired. He enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing and playing golf with Don. He enjoyed his time with the K 9 High Flyers with his pride and joy “Timbit” with whom he took to Braeside for visiting. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Eileen (Isenor), daughter Doreen (Stephen) Rogers, Stewiacke; sons Curtis, Kenny, Rick all of Stewiacke; Clyde (Rhonda), Fairview, Alberta; sister Eva Collins, Trenton, ON; brothers Thomas (Marion), Milford, Patrick (Leona), Hartland, NB; grandchildren Kaitlin, Christine and Tyler; great grandson Cameron; step grandchildren Kyle and Brooke; several nieces and nephews, Cathy (Crawford) Turple, Shubenacadie; who was like a daughter. He was predeceased by sisters Flossie, Jean, Daisy and Mable, brothers Clarence, Bernard, Floyd, Terrance, infant twin brothers and Donald Wark who was like a brother. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. A celebration of Clyde’s life will take place at 2pm, Thursday, March 29, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.
