Eric Elroy Weeks

WEEKS, Eric Elroy - 62, Coldbrook, The family regrets to announce the passing of Eric on January 5, 2012. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Harold and Della (MacPhee) Weeks. Eric worked as an Inspector for The Canadian Food Inspection Agency. He worked at various plants in the Annapolis Valley. He worked in Halifax with the Port Authority at the time of 9 /11. Eric was with Investigative Services from where he retired in 2007. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife Gwen (MacPhee), children Pam Weeks-Beaton, Yellowknife; Sandra Weeks, Halifax; Danny Weeks, Coldbrook; grandchildren Connor, Delaney, Anghus, and Sophie; sisters Janie (Brian) Williams, Saskatoon; Marsha (Rodney) Goulet, Victoria, BC; niece Tanya and nephew Adam, Saskatoon; and Uncle Basil Weeks. He was predeceased by son-in-law Paul Beaton and special aunt Lucy Cox. No visitation by request. Funeral service 2pm, Tuesday, January 10, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Exit 10, Shubenacadie, Rev. Angus MacDonald officiating. A reception following the service.
