GEDDES, Gerald Archibald “Jud” – 72, Milford, passed away peacefully March 17, 2010 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Grindstone, Magdalen Islands, he was a son of the late David Lloyd and Ada (Patton) Geddes. Jud retired after 47 years employment with the National Gypsum as an electrician. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 36 years. He enjoyed playing cards especially playing crib. His family was very important to him. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years Margaret Rose (MacAuley); daughters Kelly Cooke (Larry Lafferty), Lori Geddes (Joe Chalifoux), both of Medicine Hat; Beverly Clarke at home, sons Philip (Jane) Geddes, Medicine Hat; Robin (Tracey) Geddes, Angus, Ontario; grandchildren Ryan (April) Dickie, Tommy (Rochelle) Dickie, Cole Geddes, Julie (Casey) Vizbar, Jennifer (Ryan) Cook, Tynan Clarke, Jake Geddes, A J Rhude and Tyler Rhude; six great grandchildren; a brother Harry Geddes, Truro; sisters Jennie Wardrope, Milford; Annie (Elmer) Archibald, Brentwood; Elizabeth (Creighton) Russell, Shubenacadie; Jessie (Carl) Williams, Great Village; Wanda Geddes, Edmonton; and Terry Geddes, Toronto. He was predeceased by brothers John Robert, Kenneth, William, Eddy, and Donald, a great granddaughter Ava Dickie. Cremation has taken place, no visitation. Funeral service 2 PM, Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Lori Crocker officiating. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Shumilacke Food Bank.
