

FULTON, Gordon Allan 60, of Barr Settlement passed away March 16th, 2012 at home with family at his side. Born at Stewiacke, he was the son of Margaret (Smith) Fulton and the late Lloyd Fulton. Gordie was employed with National Gypsum in Milford for 32 years as a heavy equipment operator. He looked forward to ATV trips with friends and family, and was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoying his race trips. A kind and gentle man, he would talk to complete strangers to make friends and was also ready to give a helping hand to all including being a tissue donor himself. Surviving are his spouse Geraldine Low, of 31 years and step daughter Bo Wambolt (Tony), Nine Mile River, sister Bonny (Dwight) Sponagle of Fall River, brothers John (Linda) Fulton and Jimmy (Betty) Fulton, both of Shubenacadie and David (Susan) of Halifax, grandchildren and big fan of Katie, Rachael and Mollie. He was predeceased by his father and step-daughter Nadine Wambolt. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 21, 2012 from 6- 9 pm and Funeral services Thursday March 22, 2012 at 2pm, all in the Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, with Chris Mackey officiating. The interment will take place at Sand Hill Cemetery Nine Mile River. A reception will be held at the Lower Nine Mile River Fire Hall. Donations may be made to the Food Bank of your choice or the charity of your choice.
