Grace Sylvia Black Ellis

ELLIS, Grace Sylvia – 70, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, formerly of Kitchener, ON, passed away suddenly at home on September 19, 2012. Born in Scarborough, England, she was the daughter of the late James and Grace Black. Grace came to Canada in 1962. During her working career in Materials Management, she lived in Quebec and Ontario. She and her husband just recently moved to Bible Hill. She is survived by her husband Gordon Ellis, daughter Jacqueline (Craig) Powel, Cambridge, ON; step-daughter, Christine (Al) Harvey, Burnaby, BC; step-son, Randy Ellis, Kelowna, BC; grandchildren Wyatt , son of Jacqueline, Patrick, son of Christine, and Zoe, daughter of Christine; sisters Elizabeth Caldwell, and Susan Black, both of Cardiff, Wales; brothers, James Black, Lincolnshire, UK; Michael Black, Ian Black and Keith Black, all of Cardiff, Wales; nephew, Gwynne Caldwell, Guelph, ON; numerous nieces and nephews in the U.K. and Wales. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. There will be no visitation or service by request. Donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Lung Association.
