Jeanne Rosanne Mailman-Connor

MAILMAN-CONNOR, Jeanne Rosanne 50, Halifax formerly of Enfield, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in Dartmouth. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Marjorie Mailman, Enfield and the late Ralph Mailman. In past years she was the owner of Jeannie’s Pantry and Bayers Road Frenchy’s and a graduate of CTI in Halifax. She was a qualified and excellent cook as well as a seamstress. Her quilts remain cherished gifts to family and friends. She is survived by her children Ryan (Sarah), Milford; Randal, Jeremy, Joshua, Jacob and by their father David Anthony Connor; her beloved grandchildren Abbie, Ella and Callum; special nephew Colton; Jeanne is also survived and loved by several nieces and nephews; siblings Evangeline Mailman, Enfield; Dan (Janet) Mailman, Lower Sackville; Steve Mailman, Dartmouth; Murray Mailman, Cornerbrook, NL, David Mailman, Aurora, Ontario. Jeanne was predeceased by her father Ralph, sister Catherine and grandparents Mailman and Matthews. Visitation 6-8pm, today, Friday July 29, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Hwy 2, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held 11 pm, Saturday, July 30 in St. Bernard’s Church, Enfield, Father Andrew Rembarczyk officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment will be at St. Bernard’s Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Diabetes Association.
