
ROBINSON, John Gregory “Jack” – 54, South Maitland, died on December 6, 2010. Born in Campbellton, NB, he was a son of Ruth (Keays) Robinson, Moncton and the late Robbie Robinson. Jack was a graduate of Dalhousie University law school class of 1983. He was employed at McInnis Cooper in Halifax. For ten years he worked in Moscow for Gowling Strathy and Henderson, Coca Cola Russia and was a partner with Ernest & Young Russia . His love of the outdoors, horses and rivers brought him to South Maitland where he had a working farm. This led to the purchase of Shubenacadie Tidal Bore Rafting Park. Survived by his life partner Heather Smith, mother Ruth (Keays), sisters Colleen (John) Fougere, Moncton, Kerry (Chris) Holder, Moncton, Kyle Lawrence, Trevor Tipping several nieces and nephews. He will be forever missed by his faithful companion- Springer Spaniel Sonya. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-8, Friday, December 10, at the Tidal Bore Rafting Park at 12215 Hwy 215, Urbania. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held in the spring when the tulips bloom. Donations in memory of Jack may be made to a charity of your choice, Canadian Kidney Foundation, or Craigs Cause.
