Joyce Ann Mcdonald

McDONALD, Joyce Ann 56 of Shubenacadie passed away Friday July 22, 2011 at the Colchester Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Carole Sloan and the late George Sloan of Boston. Joyce enjoyed yard sales, reading and her endless cups of tea and Diet Pepsi. Most of all she loved her family- her grandchildren referred to her as “Hiya” or “Elmo”. She is survived by daughters Lori Malcolm and Staci McDonald, sons David Malcolm and Henry McDonald Jr., sisters Patrica “Patti” Marcott and Janice”Jan” Sloan of Boston and brothers Richard “Rick” Sloan of California and James “Jimmy” Sloan of Boston , grandchildren Xander and Zachary Malcolm, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Henry “Bubby” McDonald Sr. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday July 26th at the Etttinger Funeral Home Shubenacadie from where prayers will be held on 11am Wednesday July 27th 2011, Father Tom Kurudeepan O.M.I. officiating Interment will take place at Admiral Rock Cemetery.
