Liam Matthew Boehner

BOEHNER, Liam Matthew (15 days) passed away suddenly in his home in the early hours of June 12th, 2011. Liam was born at the Colchester Regional Hospital at 4:36am on May 29th, 2011, only 16 hours after the passing of his great grandfather John “Jack” Francis Mackey. Liam spent his 15 days filling everyone’s lives with such pride and joy. Although Liam only spent a precious few days on earth, he left a huge hole in our hearts that will last a lifetime. We will miss him always.

He will be sadly missed by his Dad and Mom, Matthew Boehner and Kristen Thurrott, Stewiacke; paternal grandparents, Darren & Tanya Mackey-Boehner, Shubenacadie; Janet (Meisner) Boehner, Bridgewater; maternal grandparents, Freddie & Sue Thurrott, Stewiacke; Andrea Doucette & Russell Veinotte, Mount Uniacke; great grandparents, Bruce & June Boehner, Betty Meisner, all of Bridgewater; Joan Mackey, Shubenacadie; Fred Sr. & Eileen Thurrott, Stewiacke; Anne Feehey-Legere, Wentworth; aunts, Zoe & Mya Mackey-Boehner, Holly Hennigar, Chelsea Joyce, Meagan Doucette; uncles, Zachary Zinck, Joel Hennigar, Joseph Joyce, Andrew Joyce, Evan Pickering, cousins Daegan Hennigar, Dakota Smith, Van Joyce and Keira Doucette-Fisher. Many more loving and caring great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his great grandfathers; Jack Mackey, Kenneth P. Meisner and Al Doucette; great grandmother Joan Turple.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday, June 15th, at Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie(exit 10 off the 102). Grave side service to be held at 4pm on Thursday June 16th at Pine Grove Cemetery, 3056 Alton Rd, East Stewiacke, Guy Hammond officiating. Reception to be held at the home of Fred and Eileen Thurrott, 394 St Andrews Street, Stewiacke. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made at the funeral home to the young couple, Matthew and Kristen to assist them at this very difficult time.
