Maurina Florence Russell MacDonald

MACDONALD, Maurina Florence, Middle Musquodoboit, with heavy hearts we announce Mom’s passing, Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Miller) Russell of North Sydney. Maurina was an R.N.A. and very happy with her time at the Rehabilitation Centre on Bissett Road, Dartmouth. She also, in her earlier years was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. She will be sadly missed by husband Earl, children Fred (Debbie), Joe (Kelly), Donna, Patrick (Gen), Patricia (Billy) and daughter-in-law Jean; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Alma MacLeod and Eileen Burke. She was predeceased by one of her greatest joys, son Earl Jr., whose arms are holding her now in heaven and brother Tobias. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Saturday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2. Funeral service 2pm, at the Shubenacadie United Church, M. Dale Crawford officiating. A reception to follow in the church basement. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery Stewiacke East.
