Michael Anthony McCabe

McCABE, Michael Anthony- 47, Meaghers Grant, died suddenly at the Halifax Infirmary on October 22, 2012. Born in Musquodoboit, he was the son of Robert McCabe and the late Pat (Dickie) McCabe. He had been employed by Jetco as a contractor. He also enjoyed gardening, working in his greenhouse and spending time with his family. Michael was a loving and caring husband, father, son and brother-in-law. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, his many friends as well as his dog Jessie “schnauzer man”. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 21 years Lisa (Dickie), daughters Morgan and Rachel; nieces Jennifer Kerr, Raeanne Kerr, Erin Carter and nephew Jeremy Kerr; mother-in-law Sharon Hamilton; aunt Marie Dickie; sisters-in –law Shelley (Kevin) Kerr , Leanne (Greg) Carter; stepmother Bonnie McCabe. Besides his mother he was predeceased by his grandparents Evelyn and Guy Dickie, and aunt Phyllis Dickie. Visitation 7-9 pm, Thursday, October 25 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where Funeral service will be held 3 pm Friday, October 26. Interment in Meaghers Grant Cemetery.
