

SYLIBOY, Michael Louis -5, Indian Brook, born 21, January, 2005, at the IWK Children’s Hospital, Halifax, where Michael began his courageous battle. With his will to fight, Michael continuously pushed on, showing those around him, that he could do it. On the early morning of Sunday, 18 April, 2010, his struggle ended, surrounded by many close family and friends at his home away from home on the 7th floor. He was an amazing little boy and touched the hearts of those who knew him. Michael was dearly loved by all and as he now watches over, as an angel above he will be sadly missed but forever in our hearts. Survived by his parents, Alanna Syliboy and Donnie Kaulbach, and sister Mia Syliboy-Kaulbach, Indian Brook, grandparents Bernie and Audrey Syliboy, Indian Brook; Linda Kaulbach (Rose Baker), NB; Don and Marilyn Kaulbach, Bridgetown; great grandparents Ida Blyth, NB; Betty-Jane Kaulbach, Bridgetown; Marjorie and Ronald Marshall, Bridgetown; aunts and uncles Shane Syliboy, Indian Brook; Quentin Syliboy, Truro; Bryson Syliboy, Halifax; Holly (Bruce) Long, Bridgewater; Jillian Kaulbach, NFLD; many great aunts and uncles and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his favorite aunt Kelly Lin Syliboy. Michael’s battle may be over but his legacy will live forever in the hearts of every single person that came in contact with him throughout his life. He showed us enough courage and strength to last several lifetimes. He taught us unconditional love and to make the most of each and every day. Visitation 1-9 PM Tuesday and Wednesday in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie with funeral service 1pm, Thursday, April 22, 2010, in St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Tom Kurudeepan O.M.I. officiating. The funeral will be conducted by Ettinger Funeral Home and Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown.
