

DILLMAN, Myrlan Thomas “Tommy”- 81, Truro, formerly of Lake Egmont, died May 23, 2011 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Economy Point, he was a son of the late Clark and Helen (MacKay) Dillman. Tommy was a truck driver and woodsman most of his life. He enjoyed watching and participating in horsepulls. He is survived by his children, Diane Dillman, Enfield; Jim Dillman, Shubenacadie; John Dillman, Quebec; Mike Dillman, Truro; Cherry Dillman, Antrim; Helen Pinch, Middleton; Evelyn Dillman, Truro; David Brown, Lake Egmont; many grandchildren; sister Lorraine Abraham, Lincoln, Missouri; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Ellis and a son Myrlan; common-law-wife Jannie Wilson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 2pm, Thursday, at St. James United Church, Meaghers Grant, Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Meaghers Grant Cemetery.
